Tim Lohrenz plays hard to work hard (yes, that’s the correct order). Molded in the mountains and plains of Montana, Tim hears and responds to the call of the adventure. A veteran of the United States Army National Guard, his weekends are devoted to college students facilitating and crafting exploration in the wild Rocky Mountains. His weekdays consist of leadership education, teambuilding, and professional development.
Tim carves time around his family and devotes his free time to his personal and family growth. Before settling down, Tim hiked the full length of the great Appalachian Trail (2,200 miles) solo and bicycled across America solo. Now that he has a wife and kids, he devotes more time to the development of his childrens’ creativity, life skills, leadership and education. Tim still finds time to hone his outdoor skills and enjoys the mountains in Alaska, Canada and the western states biking, hiking, skiing, rock climbing and pack rafting.
Tim is committed to helping international communities flourish and leads short term mission trips to Ethiopia, helping leaders run their own Global Leadership Summits, a world class seminar that encourages and develops leaders across the globe.
Tim knows what it takes to overcome obstacles both in and outside of personal control. He’s hiked hundreds of miles on a broken foot to reach help, navigated teams to safety through the beginnings of civil war violence and mob activity in Ethiopia and learned when to allow community support for his own challenges, losing a battle with his health in the wilds of Yellowstone and medically evacuating through Flight for Life.
Tim has a passion for excellence, fun, hard work, leadership and unity. He’ll work hard, treat you with respect, affirm your vision and guide you across obstacles that keep you from achieving your goals.
